Kiyokawa was a favorite of mine. He was 87 so he lived a full life and contributed to many fan favorite roles that many loved. Thank you Kiyokawa for everything.

While Kiyokawa did voice in Hellsing, he actually voiced Hellsing in the BlazBlue series as Valkenhayn R. Hellsing. He also voiced Domino in FF7R. FF7R loses another seiyuu. |

Studio Khara released a statement by Hideaki Anno, in which he recalls Kiyokawa being satisfied that he was able to play Fuyutsuki one last time in 3.0+1.0 before his death.
One of the OGs of the Eva cast is gone. I always felt Kiyokawa would be the first to go due to being the oldest, but now that it's actually happened it's hard to believe... May he rest in peace. |

R.I.P Sir. You were one of the best voices for 2 of my favorite anime's. Walter and Fuyutski are greater characters for your talent.

Rest in peace to a real legend who has been in anime for almost as long as it existed. I'm glad he got to play Fuyutsuki to the very end. May he be remembered for as long as people continue to watch Evangelion, Nadia, Hellsing, etc...

He also voiced Tippy from GochiUsa. His presence in that show will definitely be missed, since we will probably get another season in the future.

Motomu Kiyokawa's performance as Fuyutsuki in Evangelion is a classic and I enjoyed his performances in Hellsing, The Big O, and Gundam among the others. RIP and my heart goes out to his family and loved ones.
