From having the first season delayed for more than a year due to production f-up to having third season... I see this as a big win for those involved.

I'd say this is well deserved. Season 2 was a massive improvement over season 1

Season 2 was definitely a step-up from season 1, and I'm happy we'll be getting to see more of Hajime and co. adventures.

(More Shizuku, please!)

Neat. How many more waifus will Hajime get, and why will they all pale in comparison with Yue?

When s1 was made it had so much production issues it was not even sure it will even be made and you can tell it was a bit of a mess and yet to still be succesful after that is a bit of a miracle especially now with s3 on the way.

S2 was a major step up from s1 so i hope this new season will be just as good if not better but we shall see.

Happy about this! (I agree with the others, S2 was an improvement over S1.)

Hell yes! Just watched the first two seasons a couple months ago and thoroughly enjoyed them. Very good news!

One wonders whether they are going to cut out the empire arc. Since they have cut so much of it out already. They have removed so much of the groundwork already, that it is going to be a lot of work to show non light novel readers why it is important. Whether they succeed or not, I still want to see it.

The key visual and text at the end of the teaser video(spoiler[which mentions a problem happening to Shea's family]) all but confirm that they're moving straight ahead with the empire arc. Most likely the production will follow a similar strategy as season 2 and spend a few minutes of exposition early on retroactively introducing any necessary characters. As far as the setup cut from season 1 is concerned, they could technically just ignore a large part of it and instead establish the major conflict with the events occurring at the beginning of season 3.

Well that's cool. I've got a stupid soft spot for this most chuuni of isekai. And it only keeps turning that dial up from this point on.

Many. Though really only one additional one is worth having. Hopefully we get to see all the core group get some decent character exploration. It's never going to be especially deep.. this is a ridiculous Isekai power fantasy after all, but the LNs in this section at least try. A bit.

Agreed. Certainly looks like it'll be included to some extent. Difficult to skip it entirely at this point, it sets up too much else of what happens. Character motivation may end up looking a bit flimsy (not that "Hajime is badass" hasn't been considered sufficient motivation and explanation before). It'll be interesting to see how they do address it... it's got some pretty graphic scenes.

Guess they will have no choice but to do that. It will probably be flimsy as you say, and seem to come out of nowhere. But at least they are going to do it, as it seems.
