Author also has new series coming out on the same day. The title is “Maou no Atotsugi (Demon Lord’s Successor)”, it has the same artist and publisher. According to the synopsis, it is sequel to Kenja no Mago featuring Shin and Sicily’s daughter.

I enjoyed the anime a lot more than I expected - may have to try the source.

17 volumes is a pretty good run and even this far I think the author was pushing it.
Interesting to note how a sequel series has already been prepared.
