Anzu’s face game is indeed great. I would say it’s the best part of the show!

Surprised nobody mentioned the super catchy ED song. I especially love seeing those hilariously bad otome game characters dancing

Even though the manga’s complete, still hope for a second season. The open ending has left me wanting more

Man those subtitle, how hard ca it be to make the font white on black?

Seems fun enough so I'll give it a shoot, its the kind of show I'd never watch without being spoil on the ending cause otherwise I'd just assume it would just become another wish fulfillment harem with the MC going "Oh how pitiful is my life surrounded by hotties, guess I'll just have no choice but date them all".

I did realize it a little but, but a creature like Riri, with the powers is has, can be an absolute terror. It's well hidden because Riri acts like a crazy fairy companion, but at the end of the day, nothing can really stop it. Last episode made it very clear: do not piss Riri off.

So just a general PSA to yourself and anyone else interested, you can customize the look of your fonts for netflix. If you want white on black, you can do so. You just have to do it on a web browser from a computer though and go into your account options. Dont think you can do it on the app

You can actually do it on mobile, but if you are not signed in on the web, it's tricky. If you are signed in, just go to netflix.com/YourAccount in the mobile web, if not:

Click the pencil (edit) icon on profile selection in the mobile Netflix app, choose one of the profile to edit, click Maturity Rating, press Account Settings. It'll bring you to the web and ask you to enter the password to confirm it's you, press cancel. You'll be brought to the homepage of Your Account. I'm gonna assume you know how to customize subs in the Your Account already, so I'm not gonna list the rest of the steps. (This works on Android, idk about iOS)

Agreed 500%!!! The first 10-15 minutes of the first episode I was really not liking it but I realized in a delayed manner this is exactly the best kind of romcom or harem or whatever you want to call it. My initial bad reaction was entirely my fault since I came into the episode with the wrong expectations and focused on the whole cliche romcom CG scenes which were putting me off from the real story. This is exactly why you have to binge watch or at least watch through to more than half the season to really see the real magic (pun intended).

I never knew I needed this until I got farther into episode 1 and so on. This entire rollercoaster of season 1 has me begging for a 2nd season. Holy crap I REALLY, REALLY need a 2nd season and a 3rd, AND a 4th. The entire story, characters, voice acting, timing, humor, etc. is completely spot on and well executed.

It was about damn time we got another amazing romcom/comedy anime for the non-straight-male audience. Kiss Him, Not Me and Romantic Killer are one of the few romcoms I can say are absolutely stellar for my audience.

We definitely need a continuation of the manga and anime.

Oh, I checked out the first chapter of the manga for this on Manga Plus a few days ago. I thought the premise was interesting, but I was definitely worried that Anzu would eventually be pushed into a romance despite her wishes, so I'm glad to hear that's not the case! Apparently Viz has already licensed this, but hopefully the chapters will continue going up on Manga Plus too.

As an aromantic this show was hella relatable. The only real issue I had was at the end when Kazuki got over his aversion to romance and fell for Anzu. While Anzu still seems firm at the end of the show that she wants to avoid romance, I can't fathom any reason why Kazuki would get over his aversion if not for the writer preparing the story to go down the Anzu/Kazuki couple route. I don't see any reason why Kazuki couldn't still see her as a friend when the show spent so much time establishing that friendship is just as important and valuable as romance. I never read the manga, so I have no idea what route the story will eventually go, but if we ever do get a second season, I hope the story doesn't go down that route.

Uhm, Katsuki does not have an aversion to romance. He has PTSD from being stalked. And Anzu doesn't have anything against romance itself, she just didn't want to be forced into it by a crazy wizard. Picking something over something else does not mean you have an aversion towards the think you're not picking. She simply valued chocolate, video games and her cat more then romance.

What a fantastic show. The premise wasn't something I've seen before and mixed with comedy it worked so well. The characters were really enjoyable and I think having Anzu as a protagonist gave it that extra edge. I think the romantic angle with Kazuki makes sense at the end since we see the progression of the two and their relationship, it makes sense that he'd fall for her.

I just hope we get a second season!!
