Is this pretty late already? it been years ever since the series completed.
I only hope they would have an alternative ending for the anime. Since it will be a potential multiple endings for all girls |

This series is a rare exception to the rule as usually you never get a s2 to a series long after it has ended.
A remake full adaptation maybe but a legit countinution of the original anime after revival, after several years passed the manga ending? Practically never, i wonder what curcumstances alloeed it to occur in the first place. Fans should be excited as they got a rare gift. |

Strange title to give a "years later" season 2.
1. A lot of the success of S1 was because of fanservicey stuff - Yoshino in particular was VERY popular - that the school SOL subgenre is getting away from. Hasn't been a Haganai type show - either itself or the type of show that it parodied like Seitokai Yakuindomo - in years. 2. The first season final arc - the (disappointing) OVA made this clear - resolved all of the plotlines: the major illness plot, the misunderstanding that caused the whole plot, which haremette would ultimately "win" etc. The manga was criticized for contriving stuff to drag out the inevitable for as long as possible. Indeed, the ANN review of the last episode of the first season criticized it! It would be one thing if the first season was a Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War or Oregairu type classic where the writing, characters, animation etc. are so good that people are still going to watch despite not a whole lot really going on. But since this wasn't, I can't fathom anything that would hold anyone's attention for more than a couple of episodes. Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash doesn't get a second season - despite having a ton of good material left to adapt - but this, Peter Grill and "Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World" (though I acknowledge personally liking that show) as does "Banished From The Hero's Party" (another one that I liked, but save the very brief Yarandrala teaser whose ending was fine as story conclusion if need be). Just strange choices. |

I was hoping that season 2 of Eromanga Sensei would've been announced at the Aniplex event since the last novel was released this year and it's the 5 year anniversary since the first season. Oreimo got a full adaptation and that's not even half as good as Eromanga Sensei. Of course that's a personal opinion because I love Kuroneko and she got royally crapped on in Oreimo, lol |

That does not count as the series is still ongoing with a sequel book series that continues the story. This on the other hand has nothing to promote for any upcoming projects at all, that is why it is a truly rare exception. |
