Managed to read first 3 chapters for free legally on Shounen Jump Plus online, limited only in Nihongo and um...I don't know...Maybe I'm too old for Shoujo genre and is definitely not my liking, now that I enjoy darker mature seinens with gritty theme and laugh at green jokes adults come up in mind.

Good luck with the adaptation, if they can able to execute it well.

Yes, more shoujo getting animated!

If it is a lighthearted comedy as the last post implied I think I will like this, being a classic magical girl fan and all. I'll keep an eye out.

I'm glad we're getting a new shoujo anime, but given it's a Ribon manga, I'm wondering why we're not getting any of the more popular stuff? Odd choice, but still cool to see. Hopefully we get more RMC anime!

Shoujo as a demographics runs a pretty broad age range, and Ribon comics do tend to be aimed at an older elementary through young middle school audience. If you're looking for shoujo aimed at older audiences, you're looking at Cheese, Margaret and Dessert. But since you're into seinen, you might prefer josei manga over shoujo altogether.
