The character design is excellent as well as the outfits especially Sana's, the voice cast is exceptional as well.

Those outfits are cute but I'm going to be a possum in the ass and reiterate that they are terribly impractical for pole dancing.

I know next to nothing about pole dancing, but can anyone actually do pole dancing in those type of outfits? I would've expected skimpier outfits tbh...

I'd imagine the very first advice given was: "I don't think those cute frilly outfits are going to work." Heck, those would feel at home better on the ice rink. But then, we already have PuraOre. |

Every real life, in person pole dancer I've seen starts in a lingerie like outfit and ends the dance completely naked. It's anime though. All it takes to bend reality and laws of physics is someone willing to draw it bent.
I'd love to see the invoices turned in for this research.... Accountant: How the hell did you spend this much money? Kaori: To even get in a room to study with a specialist was 40k¥, then it was another 5k¥ per song and all the songs were sped up! Kaori's assistant: And then we had to buy drinks! That was another 10k¥. We tried to get in and out as quickly as possible but you know how these things go...
I really want to see this scene of her just walking down a street and coming across a random pole with a lady like 8 ft in the air, upside down and sliding it while doing a split all as if this is just a normal thing to do when the weather is nice or something. |

Maybe it's just my mind in the gutter, but the only stars I've ever associated with pole dancing are the type that are pasted on.
Jokes aside, this is an odd premise for a story. It'd be one thing if it were leaning hard into shameless fanservice since that doesn't require much thought, but it seems to be taking itself more seriously than that. The teaser gives off a feeling like a sports or idol show, but it's hard to imagine anything wholesome coming out with pole dancing as the major premise. |

It's too ridiculous by kids anime standards, it would make sense in hentai or a regular anime for adults, you know seeing a drunk hostess or porn star swinging on a random pole giving the main character inspiration to start pole dancing, but not a high school student in a kids anime. |

...or maybe they went to a pole dance studio? I don't want to wade back into the "is pole dancing inherently sexual" debate but you know there are places people go to learn how to do this, right? Or maybe STUDIO TRANSFORM is itself a pole dancing studio and Kaori is an instructor? |
