I am really worried about this show. It feels like basically nothing is surviving from the original intact. Not the amazing style of the source manga, not the characters, not their motivations past the simple Vash loves humans and Nails hates them. And as we see the story is unrelated to the source.
I dont know if I want to watch this and taint the love I have for the first anime and the Manga. This is the anime equivilent of a hollywood remake of an Japanese Animation. |

Considering the direction (change) they went with this from the start, I knew the OP song would have vocals rather than not have vocals like the original anime. Couldn't even keep that. The songs sound good for what they are.

I fear there will be less humor considering how the studio handled Beastars (a user said the anime had less jokes). Still, the CGI seems really good.

Wow, this has a lot of plot points in it. How much of the show have they finished? They must be way ahead of broacast.

This continues to look like a total insult to Trigun and its fans. Nightow must’ve lost it to allow this to happen.

I'm a fan of Trigun and I don't feel insulted. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm not particularly excited either, but as long as it gets the spirit of Trigun right I'm alright, and they don't need to stick to the manga's story or art style for that.

I'm honestly really glad I never watched/read anything Trigun, because it means I'll be able to watch this and judge it entirely based on it's own merits, as it's own anime, instead of having this childish "WhY iS It diFFeRenT?! WHaT an InSuLt To The FaNBaSe!!!" mindset.

I’m in the” not really what I wanted, but I’ll give it a shot camp”. I liked the original a lot, but I don’t really need a beat for beat remake, IF the reimagining ends up being a good one.

I’m a fan of Trigun and this hasn’t insulted me in any way.
Weird all the characters have their original names, no one’s been had their ethnicity changed, and the location is more or less the same as the original. |

That was Milly on the far right of the group shot, right?
I think my main issue is none of the redesigns, especially Vash and Meryl, really do it for me. Particularly their outfits feel less memorable. |

I love the animation, but the tone doesn't feel like Trigun. Orange hasn't let me down yet, so I'll give it a chance.
