Considering the intense media focus on Ryuichi Sakamoto's current health issues and that it was previously reported in the media a couple years back that Takahashi had seemingly successfully completed his treatment for his brain tumour, this news has thrown me for a loop really.

Oh damn, I hope it's not that bad, though, considering he had like 3 different cancer treatments...

"Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence" main theme was one of the first custom pieces I learned to play on keys/piano.
