Oh boy, I can't wait for the ANN reviews to shit on/nitpick this series once again and compare it endlessly to JJK

Me 2. Especially something as visually exciting as this - the ED fight was quite good.

Response to Scias - don't let it bug you. I found their reviews bafflingly unfair as well given their opinions on other anime, but in the end it is just their opinion. Objectively there is something that goes beyond graphics and keeps people entertained. It's obviously a good show (I'd argue great). And I know I personally get very excited to see the next season. Looking forward to the final arcs - best part of DS imho.

For sure, I know I shouldn't let it bother me but I found the reviews for S2 especially to be unfair and nitpick-y. Like the reviewer had a weird bone to pick with this anime, meanwhile he and everyone else on the planet raved over JJK like it was this narrative masterpiece when it's just another shounen jump anime but with a horror/edge factor to it, not all that different from DS. I'm convinced that it'll be the same guy reviewing eps for S3 and it'll be the same thing. Things like this are why I stopped paying attention to reviews on here or take them seriously. But this particular scenario bugged me as I've been in an anime rut for years and DS was one of the few that clicked for me.
