As a big Ciguatera and Minoru Furuya fan I hope they do this justice and very curious if they will keep in some of the outlandish Minoru Furuya humor and antics. I was kind of let down by the Himizu adaptation. It is a fine film and well made, but not exactly great as an adaptation of the manga and was morphed into something much different due to the tragic event that was the 2011 Tohoku earthquake/tsunami. Some thematic elements were there to tie it to the manga, but they were very loose.
