Huh, this is the first I've even heard of this spinoff. It sounds just as cute and silly as the original, though I'm not quite sure if this is simply meant to be an alternate take of the story with an adult Yokoi and baby Seki-kun, or if Yokoi and Seki actually got married and had a kid.

I haven't read this spin-off, but from what I understand it's purposefully left vague as to who exactly the father of "Junior" is, or at least it's a sort of wink-&-nod little gag.

I'm more amused, though, that the sequel/spin-off manga to Tonari no Seki-kun is actually coming to a definitive "end" before the original manga itself, which technically has been on hiatus since at least 2017, when Volume 10 came out.

If you wanna know if Yokoi and Seki get married:

spoiler[Yes, in one chapter she calls him and we see him as an adult, it was a joke, she got mad at him without him doing anything, and we don't see much, just his "WTF!?" face, but it was him.

The series just tries to pull the Moto Tagaki thingy of leaving the dad ambiguos but, like Moto Tagaki, gives up after a while.]

For those who are curious, if you...um..."research" a bit, spoiler[you will find in succeeding chapters that Yokoi and Seki did get married and there are chapters discussing about it, and also the baby interacting with father Seki and his family.]
I'm kinda sad it will end, it's a very cute spin-off. Teasing Master Takagi-san has a version of this too, so maybe the trend has died out or it didn't just sell as well.
