What? That was sudden.

Maybe anime will be complete adaptation?

Definitely. I forget if it was either the 4th or 5th volume I read but it didn't seem like it was going to end. Someone mentioned below that this was always planned. Either I'm misremembering things or the pacing of the story is off.

From the pacing, it seems the anime will end at around volume 3 or 4.

Wow that's a shock. I don't know how the manga has been since I haven't read it but I hope it was able to end on it's own terms. I've been surprised by how much I enjoyed what I've seen of the anime.

EDIT: checking their Twitter (wow I didn't realize they also did sweetness and lightning!) They did say that they basically did say they talked with their editors that they planned for the story to be about 6 volumes so that's a relief.

Just as I was getting into the anime! I hope both end well!

Maybe a sequel movie to complete the adaptation?

Who knows? That'd be nice to see though.

Sweetness and Lightning wasn't that long either, so maybe it's Gido's style to finish it before it gets stale.

I think the anime is almost certainly going to end around volume 3. They covered Vol. 1 in four episodes (so that's the pace, yeah), and there's a development fitting for a season ending there.

Well now you make me worry. I would be incredibly disappointed with an incomplete story, if only 6 volumes. Tomo got a full adaptation ffs.

At least it's not as bad as Servant x Service which adapted 3 volumes out of 4.

Sweetness ran for 12 volumes, Galaxy is ending after six...
