What's your take on the question posed to Dr. Tenma in the final scene? Some people are of the opinion that Urasawa didn't provide fans with enough information to accurately answer, while others believe we were given more than enough clues to make an educated guess.

Thats really interesting. I highly enjoyed the series all the way through and still think about it to this day. I didn't feel the ending was anticlimactic at all. For me, it wrapped up everything that was high on the list of want to knows. I found the show was thought provoking all the way through. I also didn't find the plot convoluted or hadn't answered questions to the point of being an issue. Since this show, I've consumed more media and anime. It still ranks high above many and I'm constantly going back to compare to it.

I did watch this series when it aired so I've had years to go over the content. I have rewatched it a few times too. While at first I do recall wanting clarity on the ending for my first watchspoiler[ if Johan was actually there or not. And what became of him.] I've grown to love the ambiguity. With other fans out there, lots of videos exist that have many perspectives on the show in every direction. So I do recommend people checking out more of that. I do think we could've had less side characters in between, but overall it's one of my all time favourites.

I even had to buy the infamous children's book.

Overstuffed? No, not for me. Epic in its intricacies, definitely.

Gotta say. While the rainy day had its closure, the final episode scenes felt like they were opening new stories

The story did start to meander a bit. But I still liked the final question posed by Johan.

Dumb question: where can I watch this with English dub?
