Ah yes, Nisekoi, I still have very mixed feelings on how the series ended and treated certain characters.

manga will be reprinted in a newer bunko paerback

Is it supposed to say "paperback" instead of "paerback"?

So will we get the chapter soon in a Jump magazine? Or will it be volume-exclusive (and unlikely for a western release) to be released in 16 months from now at the end of the Bunko run?

Can you believe that the Anime turns 10 next year? It would be cool if it had a sequel...

I loved to make fun of this dumpster fire on its time.

A shame because I loved the first 40 chapters or so.

A new Nisekoi epilogue? As I live and breathe! I hope it gets translated.

Looking forward to it!!

Truly one of the best harem/rom-com series...right up there with Sumomomo and Tenchi Muyo.

Neat... I have them all... dunno if I'll shell out for a short epilogue, though I'd love to read it...

Anyway, I'll wish again that maybe someday they'll finally publish the last few volumes of Strawberry 100%. I'm still bitter the English publisher never released the rest of that series... Sad

It'd be cool if this ever popped up on MangaPlus or the SJ app, but my gut tells me otherwise. Cool to see an epilogue chaper after all this time; I enjoyed Nisekoi for the most part even though spoiler[Kosaki was not the girl he picked in the end (I wasn't expecting it towards the end of the series, but alas)].

At this rate, it's more probable to see it from another publisher (ala Seven Seas) than from Viz.

Man, I hope! I managed to read the rest thanks to fan scanlations from back in the day. It was a fantastic romance series, maybe a bit dated in some aspects as far as the ol' harem mangas go, but I loved the way it ended and who the MC finally hooked up with. If anyone manages to pick it up and finally finish publishing it, I'm there!

Has there ever been a harem series whose ending most folks were happy with?

I admit to looking at it with a pair of nostalgia binoculars, but despite its flaws I really enjoyed Strawberry 100%. While Junpei did
Quote:
not decide to date Aya, his decision to date Tsukasa made sense given their development towards the end of the story
.

It's rare to see a formerly cancelled manga get picked up again, as titles get discontinued for a reason (more often than not low sales) and that doesn't tend to sit well with retail buyers (corporate or smaller shops). But stranger things have happened: some titles have been licensed three times for North America despite having been cancelled twice.

I would gladly pay $20-25 each at full retail for the remaining five volumes of Strawberry 100% if Viz was insane enough to publish them.

This felt like the point where Naoshi Komi had to figure out in a hurry how to extend the series, as it became the obligatory romcom SJ title.

Ai Yori Aoshi comes to mind, but I get the sentiment.

I hope Viz publishes this new chapter online, even though I can totally predict how the plot would go: spoiler[the kids of the main characters form their own promises, complete with locket!]

Seven Seas has monthly surveys where you can request manga, light novels, etc. for them to publish. They don't always accept license rescues on these surveys, but when they do, it couldn't hurt to try Smile

We Never Learn had spoiler[five endings; one for each girl in the harem. Gimmicky, but well done.]

I had no real issues with Nisekoi's ending, even though I was rooting for spoiler[Onodera. She was the childhood friend, though, which doomed her from the start.]

Tokyopop did finish Aria in the end, and Yotsuba&! has continued on under Yen Press to this day, so sometimes license rescues of incomplete series do have happy endings! It is rare, but it's great when it does happen.
