Please don't trivalize his death. Is irresponsible to talk about his death in realtion to this new Astroboy. Personally,I don't have a problem with how Astroboy look.

I'm just giving my opinion, I'm NOT making fun of Mr. Tezuka's demise. I'm just saying that Astroboy looks terrible for me.

I personally don't like terms turning in someone grave. It's just seems insensitive to that person death.

No,I don't see how you bringing his death into the subject at hand make your case that the new Astroboy look terrible.

I know I haven't posted here in a while, but I actually have something to say about this.

I don't mean to look at the glass half-empty, but it really wouldn't surprise me if this turned out to be just another corporate Hollywood film project which changes the story in order to reflect something more "realistic", all in order to please/"relate to" its target audience (whichever it may be...). Long story short, none of Tezuka's material was ever about realism or unrealism (or am I mistaken?), they simply are what they are, and it just doesn't seem likely that this Astro Boy movie will reflect that. It's more likely to be just another generic sci-fi action movie with superficial production values that presumes to think it knows what the viewers want, and I'm not looking forward to that. Besides which, even it turns out to be a "success", it won't likely be the kind of success that will have a lasting effect for generations to come. In other words, no matter how many years they've worked on this, it's likely to just be another "spur of the moment" project. It's not enough to be true to the original story, it also needs to be true to the original vision, and to the original "spirit" of the story (which actually applies to any remake/adaptation, but that's another story).

Also, what's "hard PG" supposed to mean anyway? Is it going to be PG, or PG-13? I hope it will be the former, but I still don't understand what "hard PG" is supposed to mean?
