Pure garbage. I want fights and blood, watching a loser with many girls is so patetic.

Umm the video is only one minute and thirty one seconds long and it was an opening it appears. Where's the full episode?

I was a bit surprised it was only a 6 minute long episode.

The episodes for Keitai shoujo are ONA's and each episode is only ≈6 minutes long.

When you stream the video each part is broken into a separate chapter, the intro is chapter one, the episode is chapter 2 and the outro is chapter 3. Let it buffer each chapter and use the 'next chapter' option on the player to swap between each segment.

I'll admit the show seems pretty dull and far too short to do anything with but as a exhibition for he quality of the shows on BOST it work well. the subs are easily readable and non-intrusive, the audio and video quality is perfectly good for me and the buffering speed is also good. I like the service and hope to see the other two series licensed for the UK as well.

You need to register an account and add the episode to your library before it is viewable, otherwise you will just get the opening.

I think BOST is a good example of what ANN's open letter to the industry is talking about. Granted, the shows it has aren't "brand new" like the open letter intedned, but the delivery method is similar. I hope BOST can get its hands on more enticing titles and prove the business model works. It might entice some larger fansub groups to "go legit."

Unfortunately, making Keitai Shoujo its showpiece is a bad move, as it's not all that great and is likely to leave people with a bad taste in their mouths. Maybe the first episode of one of its staple series could work better.

I personally plan to buy some points and check out Shinigami no Ballad later, hopefully its better than Keitai Shoujo...

I'm gonna go with the fact that since it is a very short series that it was probably something real cheap to get to show off on there site, its probably there for reaction purposes to see what people think of this kind of service and the quality of the service( subs, vid quality), anyways although I don't care much for the show itself I like the overall quality and sent some feedback about wanting to see the other 2 and any other future releases.

Based on concept alone I hope you'd believe that Shinigami no Ballad is the better of the two shows. If you want to support BOST and/or see how the service is, I'd definitely recommend the show. Just make sure you're in the mood for a series drowning in melancholy. It's a good, soothing kind of melancholy with light at the end of the tunnel, but it's a very tempered show and not very light hearted. Definitely worth seeing in any case.

Now, I've been interested in Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora for a while, but it's not available for me from the site and in the current market it'll never be licensed so I might have to go for the big F to see it.

Or of course wait for just a little while to see if BOST can get it for license in your area. Use their feedback form and tell them you want to see it in your area. If you've read their forums the president has said that they are in discussion to get the license for both their other shows for other countries, they also use the feedback forms as part of their bargaining tools to show the desire of different countries for the product.

Rather than just go out and steal it to see it NOW perhaps wait just a while to see if you can get ahold of it legit...It doesn't take much effort in future to find it again later anyway...

Nice, I guess I'll consider that then before anything else. It's not as if I need to see it right away regardless of how I do but at least there's that option.

Well, its little wonder Keitai Shoujo is for free. It's only 6 minutes long (inluding the OP/ED) and, frankly, its not very good. Not that you can expect much out of such short episodes but, sheesh.

But I'd love to watch Shinigami no Ballad. I never got around to watching that fansubbed, and I'd be happy to pay for it. I hope it becomes available for the U.S. soon.

Just a note that BOST is also offering Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora. But Kentai Shoujo remains the only free anime being streamed. These other series don't look like they're worth paying for. With BOST's "point" system, 5 episodes at 100 points each could be bought for approx. $9.95 - cheaper than DVD's, and might be worth looking into if some decent series were offered.

Kentai Shoujo sucks, but I might just keep watching it to see how the whole thing turned out.

Now see, THIS is how an anime harem series ending should be decided. I applaud this decision and I hope more are done this way.
