That's not at all like I expected. It looks less anime and more Scanner Darkly. Though I guess it anime. Portnoy himself says so. It's an interesting take on the song's story.

Okay, I don't really have anything useful to say except "frickin' awesome!" Dream Theater is one of my favourite groups. Damn cool job on the video, too.

Video by Mardock Scramble director Soejima

That would be nice to note...if it were not for the unfortunate fact that Mardock Scramble was unexpectedly canceled during the production phase over a year ago and never saw the light of day, meaning that there wasn't really anything of the show for him to direct. I suppose "would-be-director" might be a little more suitable...

It's a pretty unique style they chose. It's like "Trinity Blood" meets "A Scanner Darkly." It fits the song perfectly.

I liked Gonzo's work on the "Breaking the habit" video better.
"Forsaken" seems rather uncreative and bland compared to the other one.

Its not the typical anime style, which is nice. Dream Theater's Forsaken could not be done to that, heck, none could successfully.

It was a good vid. A little shaky, but good ^^

Awesome stuff. Love Dream Theater and have a lot of respect for Gonzo's stuff.

Sadly I agree. I am a HUGE fan of Dream Theatre, but this video just seems... poorly made. Especially in every sequence that involves flight Crying or Very sad. Its really too bad, cause I really like the song and this video just seems to drag it down.
