So it begins. Thank you Media Blasters for getting the ball rolling!

P.S.- Please rescue Story of Saiunkoku! Pretty please! With sugar on top even!

I'm happy that this license was rescued. I really liked Seirei no Moribito and I look forward to owning it. I hope that more Geneon licenses get rescued. I really want to own Karin and When They Cry in their entirety. Also, it would be nice if Rozen Maiden: Träumend were to get rescued.

I am so happy about this.
I had been watching the japanese dvd fansub because I thought there might be trouble in someone reacquiring the license. Can't wait to actually get this series on dvd now. And Bang Zoom doing the dub is exactly what I had hoped for.

This is great news. Media Blasters seems like a good fit for Sacred Spirit so I know they will do a good job on the show. I'm sad that Geneon wasn't able to get around to it, but I think I actually prefer MB specifically for this. But anyway, I'm just glad that the license was rescued. After all, Sacred Spirit is one of my favorite shows. <3

I also hope this leads to more rescues of Geneon's other licenses, like Deltora Quest.

John Sirabella needs to buck up. He's doing fine.

I doubt shows like "Rozen Maiden" and "Black Lagoon" (their second seasons) will get license-rescued. For obvious reasons nobody here wants to pay attention to. Rolling Eyes

Kind of odd how they announced it, but it is a step in the right direction in my view. Only time will tell whether more of Geneon's library (if any at all) will be redistributed by other companies.

No, I am hoping that both Rozen Maiden and Black Lagoon also get picked up by someone, and quickly too!

I guess we're a little dim, maybe you should spell it out for us. Rolling Eyes

As for the news it's great to see the ball is starting to roll. With a more somewhat more obscure title like this getting rescued there seems to be hope for some of their other less popular titles. I'm also hoping Deltora Quest gets picked up.

I've been wanting to watch this series for the longest time.

Looking forward to the announcement of the release date and hope that we hear good news about Story of Saiunkoku soon.
