This picture looks rushed and markers were used. If whoever drew this spent about an hour or two on making this picture more realistsic, than the picture would look better.

Whoever thought 10 year olds would use markers, of all things?

I think it looks pretty neat, I doubt heavily that I would have been able to draw something nearly as beautiful when I was 10, neither can I now ^^

I like that her picture is a bird crossed with an airplane and has a jet engine in the back. It's very cute.

Yeah, no kidding. I mean, Picasso was already rivalling the masters of the time when he was 10.

It appears to have four wings and a beak. One presumes some of the more original details will be omitted in the final design.
However I shall admit that the winning entry actually resembles a 787 more than some of its competition.
I do enjoy being a spoilsport.

The picture reminds me of my old childhood drawings; it makes me want to cry.

why did they even bother to include other countries, when there's not even a slight hint of a chance that they would choose a kid's drawing from another country over their own -- would never happen, especially with japan (well, any country really)

that said, at least she wasn't conventional and decided mix it up a little -- A+ for creativity!

I totally agree. When I was 10 years old, I could draw realistic oil portraits too. lol
