Kinda exciting considering it would appear that Sasuke and Naruto actually have to work together again. Although that little skirmish is a huge tease!

Can't say I normally like these anime movies since It's usually just full length fillers that really don't separate themselves from the t.v. fillers much, but if it's actually Naruto and Sasuke working together it might just be relatively enjoyable to watch.

Okay guys, I have a theory about it, I find strange for Naruto and Sasuke fighting together in team, and is in August, I think is related to the story and not a spin-off, from what I had read until chapter 397...
spoiler[I would say from how is going in the manga, Naruto is almost over, I mean Itachi dead, Sasuke "kidnaped" by akatsuke "madara/tobi", and is much possible in august naruto in manga is already over. now only miss pein,zetsu,konan and madara/tobi. Naruto saying that he believes in Sasuke, can actually somehow relates to what it's happening now in the manga.] |

Shippuuden is in filler mode right now. It's too hard to say where the story will be when the movie comes out.

Who cares whether its filler or not? Its Shippuuden-era Naruto x Sasuke teaming up to kick some ass. If you like Naruto, how can you be upset at this?
They showed this and translated it on the last episode of the show. I remember when Sasuke says, "Naruto, the good old days are over" then they showed him like doing some spin flip in the air and landing in a chidori and I was like, "wow, this is gonna be kick ass." I haven't seen the Shippuuden movie, but if this is like Movie 3, it should be good. Its Naruto, all you have to do is throw in a bunch of fights and the movie is gonna be a B at worst. hoppe they team up and kick ass.......and they they fight each other and then when they both down in the ground they will LOL and after that head back home.........i will love that ending.......
