It should be noted that Toward the Terra is sub only. Neutral

I am excited about The Girl Who Leapt through Time, I just wish it would have gotten here sooner.

Ayakashi Ayashi is also something I have been looking forward too. I wonder if that will get a dub?

I've been wanting to see Girl Who Leapt Through Time forever; I'm so glad it's coming. I'm just sad it's showing in LA before my vacation. :\ Oh well, I'm excited about the eventual DVD.

I can understand them wanting to get the subs out like yesterday, but waiting another year, or longer for a dub? That's just taking the piss. They can finish dubbing with in a month, if they had a mind to. Confused

No mention of GL on Scifi, that probably is a mistake on the schedule after all.

Was kinda interested in Towards the Terra, but if it's sub only I'm going to pass.

Maybe they're just following tradition...TRSI's release of the original To Terra movie on VHS was sub only, too. Smile

It's nice to finally get a date for Tokikake. I really hope that all their effort results in a Golden Globe or Oscar nomination (because we all know that Wall-E will win both Anime hyper).

Like they've said before they're taking advantage of GL's buzz by getting it out faster. It sucks that the hybrid version will be coming out at least a year after ADV's first volume was supposed to (I'm assuming that the first release will be Feb. '09). Also not all of us want to wait or pay for the dub (that includes me).

That wasn't known until the day after the panel so it'll probably be addressed at Fanime later this week...

Thank you Bandai, I was perfectly will to buy individual disks for this release but then you go and make thing a lot easier and probably cheaper as well by giving us the whole thing all at once.

Big episode counts is the ongoing theme in the upcoming releases Bandai chose to push this weekend: Toward the Terra's first volume (due July 15) features eit episodes

Was 8 or eight meant here? if not, what is eit episodes?

As for Towards the Terra I saw the first few episodes, and it looks good. I'm looking forward to owning it

Well, I'm happy to see that My-Otome Zwei OAV will be released. Another something that I can look forward to.

So does anyone know if there's a possibility there will be a dub for Towards the Terra? Kind of like what Bandai's doing with Gurren Lagann where they're releasing the sub ersion now then the dub version later?

I bought the first two dvds of Towards the Terra at AX without realizing it was sub only (I prefer both) and now I'm really hoping they get out a dub of the series because it's really beautiful so far.

This new Sub streak Bandai is on is not fun for me at all.
