Yet another new style for CLAMP to do. Well, I love how the group does so many experimental projects^^ Diversity is nice. ....I swear they LOVE mahjong though. I believe this is the 3rd work of theirs I've seen so far involving the game (although since I haven't read all their works, I could be wrong^^)

This sounds pretty interesting. A manga one-shot based on the twisted lifestyle of Washizu Iwao from Akagi. I wonder if Fukumoto is going to personally approve this in terms of storyline and characterization? |

Well I can't say I'm too happy about this considering it's likely they'll be turning these manly, awesome characters into 'KAWAII NOODLE PEOPLE LOL'. I never thought this nightmare would come true even after seeing that Jojo doujinshi.

Well, remind me not to step foot inside 4chan's /a/ for the next couple of weeks... they were indignant enough when they found out CLAMP used to do Jojo doujinshi, I don't want to see their reaction to this.
Or maybe I do. |

Wow, I can't imagine a combination of CLAMP's and Fukumoto's styles. This should be VERY interesting.
These are FAR FAR opposite ends of the spectrum here, lol. |

I actually have that CLAMP JoJo doujin, and it's just as terrifying as the rumors make it out to be. Considering they were able to make comedy fluff (with babies born from an egg to two guys) out of JoJo, I'm really, really scared about what they're going to do with Fukumoto works. Prepare for another onslaught of Moeshizu, guys.

Um, when will people get through their heads that CLAMP ONLY did the character designs on the show. They didn't write it at all, that was all Sunrise there. I, for one, am looking forward to it, and hopefully it would be more in xxxHolic style than Tsubasa's. Heck, it would be awesome if they can somehow make it gritty to fit the series. Also, it might not be as lulzy as that Jojo doujinshi since that doujin has like 17-20 years ago. They developed since then, guys. |
