Good stuff, the original SDCC manga art is especially cool!
And I'm seriously drooling over that Shogun Warriors style Jumbo Stormtrooper. Hope it gets beyond the prototype stage, I think I've seen it or something like it before. Emerje |

I'm here now, as long as you don't have a fear of crowds, there is an insane amount of stuff to see here. Stuff to buy, stuff you can't buy but wish you could and so on.

You burn thru so much cash, but there is some cool stuff.
They're doing a better job every year of moving stuff to particular areas so one knows where to go. Most of the anime dealers are in the 100-800 area, though the big booths are all in the middle. Viz is still pretty much where they always are, though they don't have as much for sale. I've picked up a bunch of cool art books & another Seiya doll & some cute little Kyo Kara Maoh figures. My daughter picked up a Luffy statue, some Phoenix Wright figures & all sorts of Bleach doodads. And taking lots of cosplay pix. Bleach seems to be the big one this year so far for anime. Still a number of Naruto, a couple InuYasha..Seen Sweeney Todd, the Invader Zim dog, Elastic man(I think that's it-red stretchy guy), lots of superheroes, Storm Troopers are down this year but Boba Fetts are up, but I saw a Princess Amidahla or whoever. Some Clouds...A Sanzo, an Alucard...I saw a group of L, Ash from Pokemon & Iruka & Naruto from Naruto which had to be the strangest set I saw. There's some Jesuses from that Hamlet 2 |
