Poor guy. He's got to hope that no one else decides to come after him in the 18 months that he is in prison. If so then his term increases to the maximum of 3 years.

Sorry some distributors are making money off of Crunchyroll right now. They're excluded.

Oh man I laughed pretty hard. I hope this doesn't scare off any cappers that give us RAWs. If it does, we're screwed. I hope these guys make it out okay.

So it was perfectly allright for crunchyroll to have illegal content up on there site for a good year and it was perfectly allright for people to steal it off there was it?? Id love to know how many people stole off there and havnt put a single penny back into the industery and then have the gaul to call themselves fans.

And the guy who runs that place is under the pretence that is he a coolage kid and not 30 year old guy in a bussiness suit suckering people into it? carry on

Same. And the peanut gallery also includes people who yell that all fansubs are abominable. I agree when a show is available in your area, you should try to get to it through legal means, but how about shows what never will be licensed, or if they do, will take another 3 years before we see it? Sure copyright infringement is illegal, but that's how the internet is. But for super popular things like Gundam, that's pretty stupid to be uploading. Or Metallica songs.

Well thats being solved gradually. First GONZO released eps over the internet with Druaga. Now BONES is doing it with that new Xam'd anime. Eventually they'll all catch on.

Why not go after Youtube as well? They're doing the exact same thing.

LOL????

This amazing new anime from BONES is going to be exclusive, not exclusive that it’s only going to be on the PS3 store but exclusive that Xbox 360 Marketplace won’t get it.

I would now like u to defend crunchyroll for stealing it

Oh, no no. I wasn't defending crunchyroll at all. You probably got the wrong idea from what I said.

I laughed becuase what he said was true and funny. I wasn't defending crunchyroll. I also never said I thought Xamd was legal on crunchyroll.

And by defending illegal uploaders, I was defending the ones who upload onto sites like Tokyo Toshokan, not those who upload onto youtube and crunchyroll.

Here u go

Rather than just putting up ads, Crunchyroll accepts “donations” in return for providing users with higher video quality. The site makes a respectable $75,000 a month in revenue, according to Techcrunch. But it’s also getting money for copyrighted anime content uploaded to the site (much of which apparently uploaded by the site owners) plainly violates the law.

As I say 30 year old guy pretending to be a poor college kid making money out of the 95% Illegal content on there and not giving it to the anime industery is perfectly fine???
