Sounds like me.

Surprised he's so non-chalant about the Akihabara thing. I'm guessing it's not one of his hang-outs. Wink

This magazine is sw33t. I've followed it since it came out. Loved the covers, though I remember they were hiring for a new cover artist last fall. And they did it by way of an art contest.

The main attraction is the catalog of NYC restaurants and food stores, but they also host interviews with various Japanese businesses (now, I guess, they're moving towards the entertainment side of things) and list monthly cultural events in and about the City (e.g. - *frequently* Mitsuwa in Edgewater, NJ).

Best of all, the magazine's free (though this of course, goes hand-in-hand w/ the fact that it's thin and chocked full of ads). I'm *so* going to grab a copy. I've a personal obsession with Kon. And these mags are mostly available on Japanese shop racks.
