Wonderful news, I loved the previous 2 minami ke seasons.

Is that "in class 5-2" anything like minami ke?

The Today in Class 5-2 OVA was great, just like the first Minami-ke. But looking at the TV series, the cast is all different and the character designs off-looking. The OVA had a great cast of fan favorites that made the characters even more endearing. Houko Kuwashima, Mai Kadowaki, Kana Ueda, Mamiko Noto, Maria Yamamoto...none of them are reprising their roles. And the little we've seen of the character designs on those home pages, it's not looking very well. Looks like Xebec is going to put thru the shredder and turn into garbage another of their adaptations.

The real question is, which studio is doing it. minami-ke was awesome while okawari left a sour taste in my mouth.

This is great news! But like alot of you I have my concerns. Still I can not wait. The real question for me though is when is it going to get licensed, because I would like to own this series!

This looks like the kind of series Right Stuf needs to pick up and give us an official, legal R1 release.

C'mon Dark Lord Kleckner, hook us up! Wink

Yes, Dark Lord, WE NEED MINAMI-KE! My real concern for this third season will definetly be which studio is animating it. Although I kind of stand in disbelief over the fact that they've already greenlit a third season.
