Interesting that they're including a Japanese dub cast for this one. I wonder if TezukaPro came up with the idea first. I hope it sells the manga better here, but is it a good idea to "adapt" one of the more traumatic arcs in the series? Or is that what sells here nowadays...?

Sometimes you have to shock the audience to earn its approval (just look at Elfen Lied and Evangelion  ).

If you visit the link shown in the beginning of the video, that site (japanese only) links to another site that sells this motion manga.
It's not really a new thing either. If I recall correctly, CPM used to make trailers for their manga that were pretty similar, except that instead of someone narrating the manga, it had a voic over trying to sell the manga.

There must be some sort of regional restriction on this video. I'm in Japan and I can't get it to load.

I'm in JApan and it loaded fine for me. Sounds more like a browser or connection problem.
