I wonder if it'll be as popular as the Golgo 13 anime series.

They were going to adapt this? Man they should have done this years ago. Well, better late than never. Of course if they had done this years ago say 70's period it would have been marvelously filled with old-school bloody goodness. Hopefully they'll put a good team on it for the animation and the script.

I remember one version of this series has spoiler[the Wolf dead and focuses entirely on the Cub.] If I remember this version started serializing within the past five to six years. I don't know if this can get as popular as Golgo. There are the regular manga volumes for that series, then there are also the bunko size manga volumes for that series, and then there are also the Big Comics special convenience store manga volumes, in which there are tons of those as well.

I've read the manga and seen the movies and the live action tv show.

An anime of it would be awesome as long as they stay true to the original manga.

I don't know if this will be as big as Golgo 13, but I say if you like manly seinen, this is for you. And I like manly seinen.

The manga (I'm talking about the first series here) is a masterpiece, I would love to see an anime adaptation! Very Happy

Bit of a disappointment there isn't much of a discussion.

I have the 1st book, but have put off reading it. An (accurate) anime adaptation would probably be really cool. Now only if we could get a 20th Century Boys Adaptation.
