It would be beyond awesome if it's available not to Canada/North America only - any info on that?

As cool as this is, I still prefer the uncut, unedited dvd version of Funimation much better. But this is a step in the right direction though, so don't get me wrong about this.

I don't think anyone can complain about this - within an hour of the Japanese airing is rediculous. I'd love to see some speed fansubber beat that even.

Given the nature of the press release, it seems like this will be only for Canada and the United States. (I'd say North America, but I don't know if Mexico and Central America would get any of the action.)

A good step in the right direction, though. Glad to see One Piece finally get this treatment, even though I'm not watching it right now.

Sadly, there will be many people who will complain, and for various reasons that most of us know. Only those who live outside of Canada & the USA that otherwise can't access it through legal means will have a right to complain.

Wait? What? They're going to start dubbing episodes starting from 391?

Why do that if they've still got alot more to dub before that? And how are they gonna cast Brook and the other new characters so quickly?

Damn this is awesome!

Now all they gotta do is release every episode up to the current one for people like me who don't like skipping ahead, and I can die happy Laughing

Unfortunately, it would be apt to induce from past experience that it'll be business as usual, viz the lack thereof.

I want to scream in joy but there are people working on the roof next door and i'd rather not have them falling off.
Whoop Whoop!

But i don't understand dubbing that far....what about the people who haven't seen it?

Also hooray for keeping in the themes. I thought they wouldn't have them.

I do have one problem- on the site www.onepieceofficial.com they call each pirate crew a Gangs. Aren't they crews? Or is there a reason they choose that?

In addition, beginning Thursday, May 14th FUNimation will stream episodes from the Sabaody Archipelago Saga story arc starting with episode 391. FUNimation will also offer both its produced uncut, English-tracked and English-subtitled adaptations of the hugely successful series beginning with the first episode.

391+ is sub only.
1-* will be dubbed.

No, we're most probably not getting any legal access to it, since right now, I can't watch my favorite show which is being streamed on the Funimation site, Captain Harlock. I cry manly tears because of that.

Now update the loading rate and the resolution/quality on your site, Funi, and we have ourselves a sweet, sweet deal. Those aren't even hard demands...

Odds are they didn't start from there but that is the arc they will be streaming. To go along the simulcast so people unfamiliar with the series and fans alike aren't just dropped into the mid of a story arc. Although I do wish CR was part of this. Their servers are the more reliable out of all the legit sites.

In any case that is very cool and I was hoping for this to happen. One of the better fansub groups take their time with the show and the other more current/frequent groups tend to summarize their translations from time to time or all the time. I hope this all goes well. I really love this show. I've been keeping up with the manga and stockpiling the anime. I love the jokes in the series.

Chopper: I was looking for your weak point. It's over with this. Scope!
Luffy: *glup. A beam. It has to be a beam!
Sanji: Like that will come out, you moron!
Luffy: Shut up you! It's a beam! No matter what anyone says it has to be a beam! It can't be anything but a beam!
Sanji: What makes you think its that huh?!
Luffy: I know its gonna be a beam!
Sanji: What kind of beam then?!
Luffy: A beam! It's a Beam! A Beam!

This is awesome. Subbed to me is better than having to watch it in dub. I'm not a really big fan of dubs so getting to hear it in Japanese does me more good that way.
