Summer?

Oh, God...if there's a screen in the area showing this, I will part the Red Sea and tint it LCL orange to get there.

...If it's the English dub, of course. >_>

Well, it won't be anywhere near me, so I'll be picking up the (hopefully) Blu-ray. Theatre listings

Is this 1.0 same as the new 1.11 that just came to blu-ray in japan? Loved the japanese dub, and checked the english trailer, which seemed ok, except for a few squeaky female voices; that always piss me off -.- The women voice actors should really improve their rugged voices, rather than keep those moe squeaky voices all the time, ruins the mood sometimes.

I'd hope that they would show them in both english and japanese, so that people could enjoy whichever they wanted.

But all I can say, is that the visuals were jawdroppingly awesome.

...while also exhibiting all new high-quality animation and promising a unique alternate ending, so that no matter how many times you've watched the original series there will be plenty of new material for fans to enjoy.

New ending? I thought changes were only afoot in later instalments, and that 1.0 only contained aesthetic alterations. Is this alternative ending provided by the first film at all significant, in the scope of the wider series?

For all I know, that could perhaps be an accurate prediction for the new ending of the final film, assuming EoE wasn't shocking enough for Anno.

I'm so deeply wedded to the original, I know that once I see this I'll become one of those crusty old jerkfans full of rage and hatred, but still it would be nice if it were showing somewhere I could get to see it. Boo.

How much more money can they milk out of a 14 year-old series?

Go ask Yoshiyuki Tomino and Monkey Punch.

Ask the guy who made Poke'mon, Doramon, Fighting spirit. They'll tell you if the show is still popular and has good ratings, it will continue.

I wouldn't mind if the show continued with new episodes. But it's the SAME EXACT SHOW. I've seen it - it's the same animation with a couple of new graphics here and there.

No kidding. It's showing in Saskatoon but not St. Louis, or even Chicago? What the hell is that?

Seriously. It seems like they went out of their way to play it in the most obscure locations they could find. Confused
