Just because GONZO fails that doesn't mean Loli's Witches 2 won't come from another company.

No, that's pretty much what it will mean. And even if it did, it wouldn't be KyoAni. They're got more Key games to adapt.

lol, aint you a funny one, delisting doesn't mean they can't produce anime but it does however puts them in a dire situation at worst I could imagine they can continue as a small studio . While I'm at it I assume you don't even care about Strike witches?

zaeris your assumption is Correct. And the Loli's can be takin over.

GONZO was close to losing it before season 2 was announced. I also don't want Kyoto Animation to get the Loli's that means i would haf to watch Kyoto Animation needs to get something I don't know about much like K-ON I had NO idea what in the hell I was about to watch but I knew there perfection wouldn't let me down and they didn't. K-ON was a master piece, and I want them to blow me away again. SHAFT is already blowing me aways with 2 Anime this summer, ZSZS and um... the one that starts with a B....

Also Rosario + Vampire has alot of potential to be good I hope a Season 3 comes by a different Company.

Dude, the fact that GONZO is restructuring means that they'll KEEP Strike Witches, not lose it. When anime companies have to scale back, they have to sell properties that aren't selling to other companies, and take as much advantage of properties that do happen to be selling.

Considering this, I highly doubt that they would even consider letting go of Strike Witches. The first season of Strike Witches literally saved them from going into bankrupcy earlier last year--It'd be suicide for them just hand it over to someone else.

I wonder if their financial situation is why so many of their current shows are up on Crunchyroll. It sucks that it had to go this far for them to seriously consider the internet as a valid release medium, but i'm glad that they've done it. I hope it works out and they see some money from it.

The more simulcasts the better.

Lol, I would have easily called you arrogant and an elitist but for whatever reason I'm just going to leave it at that. For the record Strikes Witches is an original production in a sense rather than an adaptation of a manga/light novel. At least from my eyes it is a Gonzo production that worked and gained the applause of its audience. I certainly can't think another company doing the series because the series gain popularity through what gonzo did for the series, if another company did it I was hesitate a guess but the original charm it had would be lost. For someone who doesn't even care about the series it is outright hate for the studio rather than series, fans of the series such as myself wouldn't mind a season 2 from the same studio.

As for Kyoto Anime, did you enjoy munto? lol, as far as original works goes I’m hesitate about Kyo-ani work on original concepts.

Hard to say, however this article is now well over a year old so discussion on it is pretty irrelevant now. If you wish to discuss the current economy and its effect on animation I might recommend starting a new thread on the subject in the anime forum.
