Speaking of pics, instead of using the printed autograph board, Murata-sensei redrew one from scratch and donated it for charity auction. The price is now NT$12,400 (US$376.53).

I was surprised to see that this question was not asked, either.

If you're talking about more story of Eyeshield 21 then I can only tell you the story has ended two months ago; maybe there will be single-chapter mini-stories but no one knows (and I wouldn't hold my breath for them). If you're talking about new stories then: in fact I asked them to give us a hint about the story of their next serialization but the manager politely declined to comment.

I went to the Taipei Comic Exhibition in 2006. *fond memories*
I wish I could've gone this year- I'm a fan of Eyeshield 21! And it's a much smaller exhibition than one might expect- at least it was in 2006. I heard it about it that day, found the place, walked up to a lady and paid her about $10 US for a ticket and went in. Anime hyper

OMG! They never played football?! They totally sound like experts in the manga! I hope they do U.S. con appearances one of these days, too. Crying or Very sad

Eh? Are you sure you went to the right place? While the exhibition hall is rather small in American standard (external dimension: 93 x 71 m or 305 x 233 ft, measured with Google Earth), total visitors for 6 days exceeded 420K (that's over 70K a day in average; the fact was Saturday and Sunday always have over 100K a day), and the ticket should be NT$100 (US$3) each day (there's no multi-day pass).

I want to know if the rumor that they will be doing a one shot in december involving back stories with characters like Shin, Riku, and Gaou is true? Someone has posted this on the eyeshield wiki page but I haven't seen proof that it's will be happening.

I was talking of a new series, to continue the old one.

I am aware it finished, and made my comment knowing that. I read the final chapter when it was published.

The ending is left clearly open for at least a one shot continuation. Maybe they will revisit it in a few years, maybe not. But the story is there and can easily be continued.

I wasn't too happy with how I felt it abruptly ended, anyways.

Oh wait, you're definitely right about the ticket price. Anime hyper
I couldn't remember if it was NT$300 or 100 or you see, just knew it was cheap! Sadly, I don't think I have the ticket anymore just photos.

Well it was kind of small, and there wasn't that much to look at so I left after a couple of hours and I think that's what most people did. It just didn't feel big but a lot of people probably passed through since it was right in a busy part of Taipei. In comparison to American cons, it felt more like a crowded dealer's room.

Here are some images in case anyone is curious:

I have nothing but good memories from my time in Taiwan.

It is good to hear that the artists behind Eyeshield 21 helped out with the fans in Taiwan. I got to see some of the anime series when I had time. I hope this sport catches on in Japan and Asia.

That's true... Of course, when you have a sport like soccer that is a national obsession, it kinda hard to introduce a sport that may seem foreign to them.( Like when you watch Curling during the olympics and asked yourself, Is that even a real sport!?) Hopefully the series will perk interest in asia.

It was also nice they helped with Taiwan recent problem. I hope they raise a lot of money for relief efforts.

I really wish Crunchyroll would offer the anime as a pay to download however, I emailed them and they said that they only have the rights to broadcast it as a stream. So I guess they would have to go to the studio directly and ask them if they could work a deal with them the same way they did with Toei.
