PR: Viz Media Teams with Disney XD to Present Naruto Shippuden to Audiences This Fall

this is officially the end of anime on RV as we know no matter how much new epsiodes of Bleach on AS shows.

In just one day Viz Media Stutopulis Studios what did the original and is doing the sequel has & will became the new 4kids and every user and anime fan is gonna agree with me.

I'll be setting up a petition right now and hopefully they'll listen to reason. This decision is gonna implode as badly as the nelvana version of CCS did or the 4kids versions of various anime.

Hmm... I am not sure if this will be good or not. Who knows! I'll just tune into whenever it is airing and see how it turned out.

Oh yeah, jr0904, you may not like how CCS turned out because of Nelvana, but to me, if it wasn't for airing that verison of the show, I would have never got into anime in the first place.

No, it won't. There will be uncut DVDs released. While I understand the initial reactions, there's been some time to reflect and to recognize that it really doesn't matter if they butcher the broadcast (which is itself unlikely).

Same here, except replace "Nelvana's Cardaptors" with "DiC's Sailor Moon" in my case. And I'm sure others can say the same of Starblazers, Battle of the Planets, Robotech, Voltron, Dragonball Z, Pokemon, Yugioh, and so forth.

People comparing this to CardCaptors, and such are right in a sense. In that, no matter how edited the broadcast may or may not be, there are Uncut DVDs.

But I have to admit, the meltdowns here have been hilarious. Almost as hilarious as the amount of people who can't read in this thread.

Disney getting Marvel, and this were attempts to get boys interested in the Disney brand, since for the most part, they've got the girls locked down.

I really don't know why there are meltdowns though. None of us know how much, if at all, Shippuden will be edited. And every channel has to start somewhere. Cartoon Network didn't launch with Toonami, or [adultswim].
