Thankfully I know NOT to watch anime when I need to study. Laughing

Another good comic!

Ultimate Mop Daisuke jumped the shark back in season five with all that "Vomit Sawdust Ninja" bullshit. I still watch the movies, though.

although i haven't had the issue of anime or study i have had many anime weekend benders. no movement, only to go to the bathroom, insert the next disc or have a meal. a few nice spring days ruined but if the show is realy good its worth it.

Anime hyper This is basically the story of the last couple years of high school and first year of college for me. Ah, joys (I regret nothing in college though, since most of the time I was sick and couldn't focus on homework much anyway; high school on the other hand, I think I was just plain lazy).

I've had the same experience but with video games. "Once I beat this boss I will start studying"... ether I took forever to beat the boss or I just never stopped playing after that. I was bad.

Oh man this reminds me of the time I started watching Nadia: Secret of the Blue Water when I should have been working on a project. I ended up finishing the whole series in a couple of days then blasting through my project. I got it done and got a good grade on it. But was I ever tired after that.

This always happens. You get home and plan to study your life out for tomorrow. Somehow, by an unknown force, you decide to take a break. The next thing you know, it's already morning and what you tried to study is useless.

All you need is mental restraint... which is something I don't have.

Yeah...studying and anime usually don't mix. As an undergrad some times when I get stressed out by an upcoming exam I start to binge-watch anime. Thus was how I saw all of Blood+ in three days. OTL

Yeah, I can't connect to this since I always watch anime on my schedule. If anything, I'll be playing some non-important dubbed anime on in the background during studying, something like Moonphase or Galaxy Angel.

I used to do that with regular TV back during freshman year of college, mostly because it drowned out dorm noise. It was fun, but later I realized I could study three times faster if I turned the TV off and just blasted white noise throw my headphones.

It actually made my life 10 times easier in the end (and it certainly gave my GPA a pleasantly large boost).

Sadly, I still end up watching TV to procrastinate. I once marathoned the entire 2nd season of 30 Rock in one night just to avoid working on my thesis.
