I can't overstress how much I pine for a R1 release of this. (Nozomi... Nozomiiiiiiiiii...) I expect it would become one of those disks I force on people to show the non-Pokemon/Naruto side of anime.

Nozomi licensing it would be great. They have the best packaging and usually pretty good extras, IMO.

I'd love to own the thing as well, it was fantastic. Hopefully if the film does well they'll make a continuation to it.

Wow, looked like a riot was part of the new footage, looks like we'll get a bit more background on certain characters here. Awesome, I hope someone picks up the movie!

Not much more that can be said, except that I also think this should come to the states. The artwork was great, the ideas behind it were solid, I think it is pretty accessible, and now they're adding some extra footage.

No problem getting me to buy this again. I've watched the stream on Crunchyroll many times, have told my non-anime friends about this gem, even bought the version from "across the big pond" to enjoy. Bring it all on in R1 if you care or dare.

I'm not so sure about fleshing out the characters, but the history may be more successfully developed. The brief scene of the riot from the robot's eyes perhaps much be unfairly adjusting my expectations, but expect the story to be smoothed out so that there's some sense -- however vague -- of a developing plot. Just hope that it's doesn't sway the balance to too much more drama; the light tone of the ONA is one of my favorite things about it, and is refreshing compared to the normally serious takes on these kind of themes.

Really hope that someone picks it up. Could see either the Right stuff or Sentai going for it; I'd be fine with either.

All I know is that I want a Blu-ray copy. A series that looks this good deserves a hi-def release. I'm still pulling for Directions to put the Crunchyroll subs on their eventual BD. If they do-- I'll gladly import.
