Funny, they glossed over the fact that Yuu Asakawa also voiced Carrerra in Viper GTS and Nailkaiser in Angel Blade! Laughing

Officially, she didn't. Agencies generally don't allow their talent to use the same name when doing hentai.

Quote:
Her extensive list of credits include work on some of the most famous anime titles in the industry, such as the Love Hina series (Motoko Aoyama), School Rumble (Otoko Osakabe),

This should be Itoko Osakabe.

Quote:
The theme songs for both Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040 and Love Hina Christmas special were recorded by Yuu Asakawa.

For 2040, she did a cover of Konya wa Hurricane from the original BGC as well as the song "Blue Confusion", but these were not used as the theme songs. The OP/ED were performed by Akira Sudou (credited as Priss S. Asagiri for the OP).

It's also a bit misleading to say she recorded the Love Hina Silent Eve theme songs, as it was just the ED and done with all the other seiyuu, not by her alone.

Oh, and the encyclopedia link for the X'mas special is incorrect, it should be this: anime#860

Then in this case, officially means nothing. Because her physical being, her voice, her brain to make that voice and form words, was used for the voices of those characters. I don't think "officially" can overrule "reality" or "fact".

So yes, she goddamn did voice hentai characters.

Cool, she's the voice of Megurine Luka in Vocaloid2.

Way to miss the point. I wasn't denying that she did voice them, I was saying "she doesn't voice hentai characters under her own name so there's no reason why a press release for Yuu Asakawa would mention it"
