Hopefully this one won't be edited all to hell.

At one time I was really excited about a new Beyblade series, but now, I can't say I'm interested in it anymore.

Meh,i might give this a look but it seems like a rehash of a plot of an earlier season.I guess this lessons the chances of them picking up the second season of PreCure.Probably still too soon to know if they pick up Brotherhood and Inuyasha.

Metal Fusion? Try Metal Fight. Ugh I hate it when they change the names. Don't see anything wrong with keeping it as Metal Fight. DX Now lets just hope they won't edit the hell out of it.

I could care less about Beyblade, but I'm glad that YTV's starting to get into Anime again.

Them dropping Naruto and Bleach seemed like the nail in the coffin, but there's still Pokemon and Beyblade to help pull us through.

Hopefully they'll license Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's and eventually Digimon AROUnD when that's dubbed. Then it'll be like late-90s/early-00s all over again! (Pokemon, Beyblade, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Digimon)

On the mature Anime side, they can't go wrong with Inuyasha TFA, Naruto Shippuden, and FMA:B. If they go for Shippuden they should go license the newer episodes of Bleach; it's only fair...

They already have 5D's, but are inexplicably not showing it.

Naruto and Bleach being gone from the schedule IS the nail on the coffin. It's not anime as a whole that's a concern - after all, Pokemon will theoretically never leave the station. It's teen-oriented anime that is.

Teen-oriented anime on YTV is essentially dead. IMO, Inu Yasha: TFA (the most likely candidate for potential ratings, it's CanCon and the show that essentially started it all) is our last resort, and if YTV doesn't even pick that up then we're really sunk for a while yet.

It's not "edited" when the (co-)producer does it. Laughing

Metal Fight/Fusion probably won't be edited seeing as the company that produces the dub (Nelvana?) Co-produced the Japanese version. Heck, even the English opening theme is similar to the Japanese version. (Just...with less engrish)

Although...this bothers me.

The only person standing in their way is teenager Gingka, who struggles to find his strength to honour Beyblade and save the world.

The lead's name is Ginga in the Japanese version, and on the site that had details on the dub (Their official site) had it as Ginga at some parts, Ginka at others...

Although the name is similar enough...

It wasn't edited that much, I don't think. However, Nelvana DID add some things that were NOT in the Japanese version:

-There is no "Brad Best/A.J. Topper" equivalent in the Japanese version (the dialogue was even altered in some places in the English version to relfect this addition)

-Kyouju/Kenny had no "talking bit beast" in his computer.

That said, I'm hoping that Nelvana doesn't try to "cheat" again by putting in things that weren't in the Japanese version.

Yeah, anime is pretty much dead in Canada outside of the silly kiddy stuff.

If the new Digimon series is handled exactly like how Savers/ Data Squad was handled, then expect it to show up on Family Channel, and not YTV, nearly a year after the show started airing in the US at 6AM on a Sunday.

The show had some odd edits, a lot of weird character edits were done (sequences which would build more character would be edited). The worst edit would have to be in the very last episode of series. In the Japanese version of the show, the series ended with a clipshow that tied some loose ends, and showed that, that episode was the end of that tale. That clipshow did not appear in the English version.

DONT HOLD YOUR BREATH!!!

This is Nelvana were talking which is the 2nd worst co after 4kids. If it wasnt for 4kids , they would be the worst. Especially after the horror they did with CCS.

Like it or not it's gonna be heavily edited especially if there's any claims of "death ' and dying.

However if they (the edits ) are similar to Bakguan season 2 , it should be ok. BUT if it's like with CCS and Beyblade V Force , then forget it. It's gonna be as bad as 4kids.
