Is this Kurogane the manga with the mute cyborg samurai with the talking sword? I borrowed that series from my local library, and it was kind of interesting...

Nah. That one was by Kei Toume.

Does anyone know if Amazon's English version starts the stories from the beginning? Or would buyers be dropped into stories that have already begun? I'm interested in supporting this initiative, but I don't really want to pay for stories that I have to start from some mid-point.

I bought this to check out the plausibility of reading manga through kindle on the ipod touch. Gotta say, it's pretty cool. I hope more companies do something like this.

I'm not very good at navigating through the book, beyond the links that take you to each story (for example, how do I get back to the table of contents if I'm in the middle of a story without clicking each page all the way back?) Not sure if this is because I'm not familiar with the kindle app or if Comicloud needs to tweak their system a bit, but once this is sorted out reading manga this way will be completely feasible.

I was also pleasantly surprised that the Japanese version of the mag was included in the purchase too.

Hope Comicloud does well and other companies jump into the game. Yen Press should totally do this with their new online mag.

Taro Matsumoto

Is this the same Taro who's Jiro Matsumoto's sister?
