A Hayate x Blade omnibus, eh? I've been interested in checking it out for a while and this seems like a good place to start.

See, this is why I wish there was a place to learn about manga releases ahead of time like anime. I like planning my purchases, not having them spring up on me on the release date.

I regularly check the new additions on Right Stuf's Recent Changes page. Though I'm usually checking for new anime releases, all the manga listings (and everything else under the sun) pop up there as well, usually months in advance.

Aside from like two titles last week, Tokyopop's November releases still haven't been listed here. I really like that ANN posts these every week so I don't want to be a complainer, but I'm wondering why a major manga publisher's releases seem to be left out? It looks like only one of Tokyopop's October releases was listed last month too (Hetalia on Sept 28).

@King of Harts—I keep an eye on Amazon for upcoming manga releases. Right now they've got up releases through next May or even August, depending on the publisher. You can do an Advanced Search for specific publishers and sort by publication date, or browse Books > Comics & Graphic Novels > Manga (again, sort by date) to see everything... including some not-actually-manga odds and ends. Those dates can change, but at least it gives you an idea of what to look out for.

I check that regularly as well and never see manga, although I do see everything else. In fact, the only time the Hayate x Blade omnibus release is mentioned is under the price changing section, so it isn't even under new releases.

Sweet. Now I just need a way of getting around my laziness. I'm just so used to braves posting the upcoming releases in the retail section. Oh well, I don't buy a lot of manga anyways. Thanks for the tip, though. I'll keep it in mind when I'm browsing Amazon.

Oh, the manga is definitely there (there's a truckload under the October 21, 2010 entry, for example), but I can see how it would be easy to miss amidst all the key chains, figurines and other assorted doodads and whatchamacallits. I find it useful since I'm on the look out for certain title keywords when scrolling through, but if I were just browsing for new series to watch/read, it's probably wouldn't be as helpful.

@ The King of Hearts

Check out RACS preview page for manga

Also check out Diamond Previews for stuff shipping in 2 to 3 months. (Previewsworld.com/public/default.asp?) or any comic shop. Note that Dark Horse shipping dates given are more of a pious wish than a firm committment.

Need to get both Xam'd BD's ASAP. Nothing for me this week in manga, surprisingly.

Three words: DETROIT METAL CITY.

Simply fashionable.
