I guess starting shows on TV and finishing them on DVD/BR is Japan's idea of making money off physical media again. It's a really annoying trend (that's been going on for a few years now) and it's surprising that they would be this up front about it, usually they wait a while and rope people in with the TV series and then drop the bomb on them about the remaining episode(s), not before a series even airs.
I guess they saw that it only ranked 7 out of 15 on Dengeki's anticipation list (and 14 out of 17 on ANN's own poll) and thought it needed the extra publicity. Emerje |

Sounds like a backwards, crappy version of OreImo (which was great because it kept a perfect distance from the incest trope).
