I picked up a couple of the volumes in Japanese after reading them in scalations. I'd love to see this get picked up in English and finish reading it. It's right up my alley.

I read a few chapters of this, but am now waiting for an English company to pick it up. I'd be really interested in buying it.

Of course, it's a Shogakukan title. Meaning VIZ gets it or another company (probably Dark Horse) will have to fight for rights. So I have doubts that we will ever see it on these shores...

Yeah, I doubt that, they seem to have a policy of not publishing anything having a dark ambiance anymore. Notice how they don't seem to have any plans to publish Asano Inio's arguably best work(that's only one volume long by the way) Nijigihara Holograph, or just look at their s**tikki line, almost nothing but mediocre gag manga and happy utopic slice of life stuff(and not even Noramimi the one great one). I'm glad I know enough french to not have to deal with their crap anymore.

Which is why I have doubts. I love darker titles, but VIZ doesn't carry many. And I still worry about censorship with them.

I have been dying to see this manga licensed in english. I am not too sure how I'd feel about Dark Horse licensing it though. I tend to dislike their translators and sfx. Viz on the other hand would be perfect. Plus, they've already licensed a few titles from big comic spirits like Ikigami and Oushinbo, so it's not totally out of question.
