It's so nice to see Sakura Kinomoto again! If there was a pencil board of the art, I'd go for it.

I'm not getting sound on the video posted though. Sad

EDIT: Worked fine in another browser.

Platinum was my favorite opening. Such a long time ago for Maaya! I don't think she'll have any CLAMP related songs to do any time soon though. Confused *crosses fingers for CLAMP in Wonderland 3*

Any official translation on what Tange-san said? I got something along the lines of "We'll (You'll?) definitely be all right!" but my Japanese is really poor.

Glad to hear Sakura again. I miss her voice!

Your translation is fine, "It'll definitely be OK!" is fine too. The significance isn't so much the exact meaning but that 絶対大丈夫だよ was a credo of Sakura in the original series; I think it was called her "magic spell" at one point.

I think it`s sweet that they had Tange-san say Sakura`s invincible spell. Just that line alone so is powerful and has such deep meaning to it. I felt all `Hanyaan`inside!

Sakura Tange!!! *love*

I miss her. She has such a cute voice and made a wonderful Sakura Kinomoto. I wish she had come out of retirement to do Tsubasa Chronicle's Sakura.

A blast from the past...I never thought Sakura Tange would ever come back to do anything after she retired. Even though it was a small stint, it was nice to hear from her.

Now that you said that I remembered that was her spell in the series. Nice. Very Happy

She has come out of retirement since about two years ago, voicing a few games and anime. She had an episodic appearance in Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? and will be in this season's Dog Days.

Yeah, I definitely remember that. It's a appropriate reference and very nice to hear about CLAMP's and Tange Sakura's efforts here.

Agreed. With Sakura-chan cheering on Japan, they're sure to get back on their feet in no time Smile

Well, she just did the Kobato Opening and is quite frequently seen in Clamp related animes, so I wouldn't count her out for any future Clamp anime adaptions. Of course, Clover would be best ...

anyway, nice idea from clamp and miss tange

Kobato feels farther in the past than it should... Sad Maaya was already in Clover's "adaptation". Razz
