So why is it more expensive for men than for women? Jokes aside, it seems like a odd practice now and days.
Anyway, on to the topic at hand. For $60 , one probably could buy a moderately nice shirt, pants and maybe even a nice hair cut, so it almost would be cheaper to try to find a woman on your own. Japan is a big place, so there is a tons of places to find people I imagine.

I imagine there won't be a lot of service!
But they could charge a lot more premium prices at least!

Never thought about it like that. Makes sense there might be more guys than women.
Okay yeah maybe $60 is stretching it a bit much, but at very least, they could get a nice hair cut or something like that.

It actually makes sense, and borders on charging more honestly (or at least less predatory) when you figure the guys have to pay for this...

Haha my thoughts exactly, what if the woman is a criminal that enjoys killing men :O then I guess otaku would be the best targets, I know I wouldn't mind getting killed by a gorgeous babe

don't most dating services charge more for men than women? just like bars will charge less, or no cover for women (every bar has a ladies' night; none of them have a mens' night). when you have an overabundance of males, you need some kind of incentive to draw the female crowd.

The extra cost of a complete human valet and spa service me thinks. In my day ladies night meant the club was researved to females only so they could get completely rat-arsed without some drunken smelly male trying to crawl into their knickers all night.

...Man..otakus gotta get over that fear of rejection. Having someone match you up isn't going to make you magically able to talk to a girl, it'll just mean your date will be full of uncomfortable silence whereas if you actually got over yourself and started talking to women you might actually be able to put that $60 to some good use. You take to Mc Donalds, she can super size it, you guys catch a movie, and then still have plenty of money to get her smashed at the bar for end of the evening romance.

hmm I find it kinda insulting but i would never stoop this low to get a woman in my life. I would rather stick to 2d than degrade myself so low as this.
