Heck, the problem is the Japanese can be too mannered in the theaters!

Many Japanese wouldn't even LOL at the funny parts of the English movies!

Sometimes, it makes ya think you're the only one who "got" the joke lost in translation! Laughing

Bandai should get this dubbed and cons should show it before panels and stuff.

What is even more hilarious is that this short likely will grab more attention than if a run of the mill or even slightly well known actor did it.

Animated characters and teaching sometimes can go together and other times they can not.

But like Enurtsol said, there are times when the Japanese can be too well manned in theaters.

If most people (maybe not all) are laughing and having a good time and here you are ultra stiff, rigid and have the most serious expression on your face, it can be awkward.

And not the hilarious awkward, I mean the uncomfortable/slightly creepy awkward. Always never by choice I have been part of that type of awkward and let me tell you, it's usually not very fun and to keep it somewhat light, you start talking about anything to deviate the subject.

Odd as it may sound, it is possible to act too mannered, just like it possible to act without much manner (which unsurprisingly is more common.)

Starre257: Let's say Bandai does that, where is the profit in it? Dubbing (at the most) 2-3 minutes of a show is not only very expensive, it may not be worth it. Yes, some fans might want to watch it, but would they want to buy it? The answer might be no because once you seen the message once, your likely to remember it and not really have a need to see it a second time.
