So, like an idiot, I bought this. It's cute, mostly useless. Upon install it immediately overwrote my wallpaper and installed it's own, rather generic looking one. On top of that, the resolution of the included apps is too low for my phone's (EVO 3D) screen and they look horrid just floating in a small rectangle on my screen. Edit 2, I suspect some functionality is lost due to my phone having the Sense 3.0 UI. When hitting the home key, I get the option of using either Sense 3.0 or EVA Home, and trying to use Eva home does not work. I believe it may work on a rooted phone.

The battery widget is cute, since it's an EVA battery meter.

The clock widget is too small, and unlike my built in clock lacks both a stopwatch and an alarm.

EVA News would be useful if I were better at reading kanji, so it's my fault I can't use that one.

I'm not certain how EVA ID works, I assume you need to register somewhere. I'm going to assume that it's necessary to expand the app into something useful. Edit- It's also cute, but useless. It's a virtual business card with name, phone number, and e-mail plus your position in NERV and greeting that you can trade via QR code that serves as a little Eva themed rolodex.

Eva selection is just a customized app market search that comes up with two approved items.

Eva sound is just that, miscellaneous background sounds from Eva. You can select a sound and assign it as your ringtone, but since most of them are grating klaxons, metal crunching, and bubbling noises, I'm not certain who would. Strangely, although the sounds are numbered from 1-27, some numbers like 3, 7, 8, and 9 are absent from the sound list.

"Eva Twit" was useless to me since I don't use twitter, although it very effectively demonstrates how I feel just this moment.

Good to know. If it ever comes to iphone, I'm going to pass it up! My interest was peaked when it mentioned ring tones, but from what you describe.. yeeecccch... I don't want *those* ring tones! Thanks for the review! Smile

It worked fine, until I unplugged it then my phone ate the power supply from a beat-up computer. Now it won't shut off.

To save bandwidth I downloaded it via my PC and a USB cable and installed it. However, when I unplugged the cable, a countdown timer popped up and started counting down from 5 minutes. At the end my phone shut down, and wouldn't restart until I replugged the USB cable and recharged the phone!
