I like how whenever a new volume comes out it just breaks the record of most selling... set by the previous one.
No, but seriously, I love this series, and I WILL buy every single volume that Viz releases over here. The arcs just seem to keep getting better and better. This is one of those series, I kinda hope reaches 150+ volumes, because I know I'll enjoy every page of it. (100+ Volumes is obviously a given)

The previous volume, volume 62, matched but did not beat the former record of 3.8 million copies set by volume 61 — in part due to the March 11 Great Eastern Japan Earthquake (Higashi Nihon Daishinsai) disaster.

Like I've been saying all along. Laughing

ANN: The #1 spot continues to be held by Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, now in its fifth weekend.

With these 2011 Box Office Mojo rankings, I have stopped wondering anymore what's possible in Japan: Laughing

Rank Movie Title Distributor Gross Release
1 Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (3D) Disney $108,856,481 5/20
2 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part Two) WB $65,696,143 7/15
3 SP: The motion picture kakumei hen Toho $40,242,318 3/12
4 Gantz Toho $40,127,423 1/29
5 Meitantei Conan: Chinmoku no kuôtâ (Detective Conan: Quarter of Silence) Toho $38,010,276 4/16
6 Gantz: Perfect Answer Toho $33,378,866 4/23
7 Tangled Disney $31,081,461 3/12

Anybody here really believe On Stranger Tides should do far-and-away 2.5x better than any Japanese film? Laughing

If they had id be alot further along with the series than i am now because i stopped buying em for a while in the hopes they'd correct the mistake but it stuck. currently i have up to vol 26. got 44 too as it was silly cheap brand new on ebay.

I think it's like the first volume only that they call him by his proper name, it's a licensing issue, and they have to call him "Zolo" instead. And really, you though they'd change the sort of established spelling after 20 volumes? That was why you stopped buying?
I'm lucky in that I can read fast, and my brain reads "Zolo" as "Zoro", because that's what his name is, and the font makes it easy to do.
