Hmm, I think most of it is good. It's a Legend list.
Yamadera, Nozawa, Takayama (her popularity still surprises me a bit, actually), Kappei, etc. Could use some Furukawa Toshio (but we have his "rival" Kamiya Akira =D) |

I do not see Takehito Koyasu in this list! The guy is the most prolific in the industry: surely he should get a place in it!

The Bic Cristal is ubiquitous, that doesn't make it the best pen.
Voice actors are likely to be voting for older names, the people they look up to and respect. |

Why did you spell Megumi Hayashibara in western order but Romi Park (Park is the common romanization of her last name) in eastern order? |

Edit:It might have to due with the fact that most of these VA's have been in the biz for close to 20-30 years. :/ And I like both Megumi-san & Romi-san (and quite a few other voice actors! spoiler[Personally I wanted Kazuhiko Inoue to be in the Top 100 list but... >__>] Last edited by Keichitsu0305 on Sat Aug 27, 2011 1:07 pm; edited 1 time in total |

Seeing Norio Wakamoto clocking in at #7 makes me feel good about this list. Maybe I'd have moved him up one more spot, but seeing who's all above him, it's tough to argue him being much higher. Still, he's easily my personal favorite male voice actor, and it's good to see that he's held in such high regard by his peers as well.

No Tachiki Fumihiko? This list is dead to me. I don't understand how Goku and Luffy can be considered good examples of acting. Looks more like they just picked VA's who played the most popular characters.

This seems more like a popularity/respect/old timey list than a true one.. I mean.. no disrespect to her, but Masako Nozawa as #2?
 I think she only got that because she was Goku.. she's not very.. varied. (Adult) Goku and Dukemon sounding like old women is very off putting... but to her credit she did Kureha pretty well

A true list? And what, pray tell, is that? A list chosen by fans based purely on talent? Oh, yeah, that's real objective. Any "Best of" list is going to be based purely on the opinions of those that were polled. This is a true list according to the tastes of those that were polled, which will differ if you poll a completely different group. |

Really, anyone not in the industry or over the age of 30, preferably. So we're not dominated by typical Dragonball/One Piece answers (and Yatterman/Kinnikuman and other retro shows for that matter) |
