I don't know why but this trailer left me so damn excited!

Looks like now I really have to buy the 3DS. The Kingdom Hearts team need to stop releasing all their games on different platforms. There is only so much one can do to keep up with the expenses Anime hyper

Which reminds me, I still have not had the time to buy the last two KH games. God I need more time to catch up...

people keep saying that but you gotta understand its easier to develop a game for handhelds then it is for the consoles and since they are working on versus 13 they can't exactly work on KH3 right now. so i will take hand held KH games over no KH games and any fan will say the same.

I'm still convinced birth by sleep was meant to be KH3 but due to the PS3's low sales early on in its release, square switched gears and started adapting it to the tried and proven psp. It's the only thing that makes sense with the whole release scheme of every 5yrs for additions to the main storyline (KH - 2001, KH - 2006, KH BBS - end of 2010 so practically 2011), plus if you've ever played the game which I guess you haven't since you stopped at KH2, you'd realize that it's not a side story like all the other non-main console games.


As for KH 3D, haven't seen the trailer yet but I'm a little afraid it'll make me want to get a 3DS which I really don't want. So conflicted...

Made me wet my pants when I watched the trailer.

This gave me a bigger reason to get the 3DS handheld (because not enough money yet). Though I wish I could get PSP for Birth By Sleep.

Well hopefully it's better that KH Recoded, cause IMO that was pretty bad. The Days one was really good though.

I also kind of hope that they go other places besides Wonderland & Beasts Castle, cause they have used them too many times.

Although I'm not sure what the 3-D can or will add to KH, and I agree that the series would really benefit from being consistently assigned to one console (or console set, preferably Playstation), I love the series too much to really care; this game in particular looks fantastic, with Nomura and his team once again intensifying and expanding upon the battle system. I didn't know where they could go after BBS and re:Coded, but I guess DDD is the answer. Plus, the graphics on the 3DS are amazing. Hnnggghhh.
Also, speaking of console switching, here's to BBS Vol. 2 on the Vita (we all know it's coming). Rolling Eyes

From what I've heard, all of the Disney worlds appearing in Dream Drop Distance have been stated to be new. I don't think this is officially confirmed, but Nomura said that was his aim in an interview and it would correlate well with what we know about the premise of the game.

Actually, what makes sense is that the main KH team which Nomura wants to use for KHIII is taking OHMYGOD forever on FFVersusXIII and can't be bothered to start development on Kingdom Hearts III until they've finally completed this pet project of the company which had better be pretty much the best video game ever considering how long it's been in the works.
And BBS was an addition to the main storyline; in terms of importance, Nomura himself ranked it as a console title, basically calling it KH0. So, in that regard, it would fit your nifty trend (which I actually never noticed, by the way). I guess we can expect KHIII in 2015/2016 on the PS4, after like six more side titles that further complicate the plot and characters the point of nonrecognition? And that's just the Xehanort Saga! Wink
