What? No Crest of the Stars? Or it didn't even get on the lsit because it has been released in 1999?

Assuming these numbers are representative(they ain't), remaking Slam Dunk would be a slam dunk.

I agree. I myself would enjoy seeing a Slam Dunk remake, its one of the few sports based series I truly enjoy.

And who knows if it got a remake, maybe somebody would pick it up and release it in the states, probably not (after the orgional from Geneon/TOEI failed) But hey, a guy can dream.

Interesting that Neon Genesis Evangelion is on the list, despite the fact it did get remade (albeit as a series of movies, not a TV series).

Yū Yū Hakusho and Sailor Moon getting remakes, possibly in the same vein as DBZ Kai (in that they'd be more streamlined/trimmed down) would have me freaking jumping for joy.

You should watch High School DxD then. Awesome pole dancing end sequence. (The OP and ED of that show are actually the best bits. Sad but true.)

Yeah...how different would a "Neon Genesis Evangelion remake" be from Rebuild of Eva? I mean do they want something shot for shot?

Remakes tend to change things, and Rebuild is changing things but its not particularly bad decisions compared to crazy remakes I can think of.

You'd think they should have just discarded those votes.

Ignoring position on the list, I find it interesting that the lists are basically identical except that women want more Sailor Moon and men want more Evangelion. (I'm also curious about the sample group, considering that an anime I've never heard of (Laughing Salesman) is in the top 2 on both lists. I mean, I've at least HEARD of all the other ones including "Kindaichi Case files")

A remade City Hunter would be pretty awesome. But then I think about Angel Heart and how much that disappointed me when compared to City Hunter.
